Xbox released a Season 1 trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone on its YouTube channel on Monday. The video's description reads: "Two new battlegrounds in an escalating war. Brace for battle in Hajin Conflict." It adds: "Play for free November 6." PlayStation posted the same trailer on its own channel.

In a post detailing the season, the Call of Duty studios say Season 1 goes live at 0000 (midnight) ET on November 6 (2100 PT on November 5). They say it fully integrates Modern Warfare 4 into Warzone, with a fresh leveling experience, new weapons and new gameplay mechanics. Player Levels will also reset.

The two new maps are Hajin and Zodiac. The studios say Hajin is a Battle Royale map that brings Warzone to South Korea for the first time. Zodiac is a compact Resurgence map built around a drone assembly and manufacturing headquarters. New gear includes the Zipline Launcher and Grabber Drone. Battle Royale, Resurgence, Rally Point, Massive Resurgence and Loaded Resurgence are available at launch. Extreme Resurgence and Rockets and Snipers arrive mid-season.
